De Groot, Isolde (Ilse) Ilsode "Ilse" DeGroot, passed away Dec. 21, 2002 after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William C. DeGroot. She will be sadly missed by her 2 sisters in Austria, Inge Jesser & Traude Schramm; her children, Gloria (Ed) Kasper; William (Sue) DeGroot; Ingrid (Chuck) Mannisto; her grandchildren, William, Rex, Lisa, Steve & Don; great grandchildren, Anthony & Kayla. A Funeral Memorial Mass was held in her name on Sat. Jan. 11, 2003 at 11an from the St. Judes Catholic Church in Grand Rapids.
