Jack Roy Hannon, age 82, of Newaygo passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at home with his family by his side. Jack was born on May 3, 1941, in Highland Park, Michigan to John Henry and Charlotte Estella (Malone) Hannon. He married Patricia Carol Washburn on December 12, 1959, in Detroit. Jack had worked at the General Motors Lavonia Plant for over 30 years and enjoyed collecting classic cars. He was an avid weight training enthusiast and cherished time with his family. Jack is survived by his loving wife of over 63 years, Patricia; son, John (Sandra) Hannon of Sand Lake; grandchildren, Julie (Jeff) Hawkins, Patricia (Brett) DeHoag, Allison (Levi) Kuelper, and Sandra (Rion) Hanes; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Jenna, Finn, Caleb, Norah, Lucy, Adelaide, Alice, Joseph, Aspyn, HattieMae, and Alyne. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Todd. There will be a Celebration of Life for Jack at 10 AM on Saturday June 17, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fremont (20 E. Sheridan St. Fremont, MI 49412).
