Jacquelene Jackie (Snyder) Struble, age 89 of Fremont, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Jackie was born on February 20, 1927 in Fremont to William A. and Maude (Farnam) Snyder and later married Alva Struble on July 17, 1987 in Fremont. Alva preceded her in death on August 4, 2010. Jackie has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont and Hesperia area where she had worked at Gerber Products Company in the Cereal Department for 33 years until her retirement in 1980. Jackie was a member of the Country Bible Church and had enjoyed playing cards, knitting and crocheting, baking and cooking, and visiting with family and friends. Jackie is survived by her niece and nephews, Jerry (Teddy) Snyder; Hope (Jim) McClernan; John E. (Kim) Hambrock; Fred Hambrock; Don (Geri) Hambrock; her step children, Adrian (Ruby) Struble; Charlene (Jerry) Miller; Dwayne Struble; step daughter-in-law, Jean Struble; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her brothers, Lyle, and Jerry; her sister, Jarda Penny; her neice, Darlene; step son, Keith Struble. VISITATION : Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4-6pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 1pm at the Country Bible Church with a visitation 1 hour prior to the services at the church. INTERMENT : Sherman Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Truenorth Coats for Kids Program.
