James A. Jimmy Schotts, age 45 of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at his home. Jimmy was born on September18, 1965 in Fremont to Arthur and Margaret (Burkett) Schotts and graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in 1984. Jimmy has been a lifelong resident of Twin Lake and Holton had been a production worker. Jimmy enjoyed his vintage Artic Cat Snowmobile and was a faithful Detroit Tigers fan. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Christine (Dan) Wilhite and their daughter, Chloe of Twin Lake; his mother, Margaret Peg Schotts of Holton; his grandmother and special friend, Geraldine Burkett and Leonard Kruszynski of Fremont; his brothers, Arthur (Linda) Schotts Jr. of North Muskegon; Robert Schotts of Holton; Gerald Schotts of Holton; special aunt, Kathy Anderson and special uncle, Carl Schotts; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Schotts on October 25, 2009. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 2pm at the Lincoln Township Cemetery following cremation. Friends may consider the Schotts family to assist with expenses for memorial contributions in memory of Jimmy.
