James W. Clark, age 79 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his home. Jim was born on February 18, 1930 in Grand Rapids to William B. and Alberta (DeBoer) Clark and moved to the White Cloud area from Grand Rapids and Newaygo in 1990. Jim met and later married Marvanna Rose on April 7, 1990 in Newaygo and had been a electronics technician and troubleshooter at Lears Siegler in Grand Rapids for 40 years until his retirement in 1992. Jim enjoyed fishing, woodworking, crossword puzzles, reading and was a member of the Croton American Legion, Post #397. Jim also served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Jim is survived by his wife, Marvanna of White Cloud; his children, Floyd (Cathy) Clark of Grand Rapids; James (Sue) Clark of Newaygo; Matt (Sue) Clark of Grand Rapids; Lori (Curt) Schleh of Muskegon; Dennis Clark of Muskegon; Jeff (Tammy) Clark of Grand Rapids; his step daughter, Tera Knevels of Columbia, South Carolina; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Helen (Warren) Dewitt of Holland. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Weekly. VISITATION : Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 11-12pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL MEMORIAL SERVICES : Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 12pm at the Crandell Funeral Home with interment in the Whipple Cemetery following cremation.
