James "Jim" D. Ryman, age 81, of White Cloud passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Sanctuary at McAuley in Muskegon. Jim was born on June 29, 1941, in Grantsville, Maryland, to Herman Marshall and Zelda May (Butler) Ryman and was a retired carpenter. Jim was a member of the Carpenter's Local #100 in Muskegon and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Jim is survived by his companion of over 15 years, Carolyn Sheller; brother, Marshall Clayton Ryman of Newaygo; and sister, Wanda (Earl) Butler of Pennsylvania. He was preceded by his brothers and sisters, Russell, Marvin, Floyd, Virginia, Ruth, and Mary.
