James Richard Dysinger, age 75 of White Cloud, formerly of Oregon, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 10, 2023. Jim was born on January 19, 1948 in Stotts City, Missouri to Arthur and Ada (Welsh) Dysinger and joined the United States Navy where he served during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge. Jim later moved to Oregon where he had been a machinist, millwright and welder for Poly-Hi Soulder in Oregon until his retirement. Jim met and later married Heidi Stephenson on December 31, 1989 in Lake Grove, Oregon and Jim and Heidi moved to the White Cloud area in 2014 from Hubbard, Oregon. Jim enjoyed camping, hunting and carving candles in his younger years. Jim enjoyed sharing his knowledge and teaching but especially enjoyed fishing throughout his entire life and many fishing stories could be told about his fishing days.
Jim is survived by his wife, Heidi of White Cloud; his children, Jeffrey (Brandy) Schaecher of White Cloud; Jared Dysinger of White Cloud; his grandchildren, Ryley Schaecher, Taven Schaecher, Trysten Schaecher, Danika Knight, Torin Cooksey, Kathleen Cooksey, Gavin Cooksey, Eian Cooksey, Zidane Schaecher, and Jamia Johnson; his brother, Art (Elaine) Dysinger of Freeport, Maine; his sister, Sue (Charlie) Mullen of St. Paul, Oregon; his mother-in-law, Jacquelyn Stephenson of White cloud; his sister-in-law, Jenni (Kanyon) Johnson of White Cloud; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ada Dysinger; his brothers, Charlie Dysinger, Paul Dysinger, and Howard Dysinger.
Private Celebration of Life Services will be held on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the family home and Graveside Services will be held at the Pike Cemetery in Yamhill, Oregon in late summer of 2024 following Jim's wishes of cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan for memorial contributions in memory of Jim.
