James H. Ennis, age 75, of Grant, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010, at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Jim was born on January 25, 1935, in Bear Lake, Michigan, to Cleo H. and Maude (Cogswell) Ennis and was a member of the Little river Band of Ottawa Indians. Jim is survived by his children, Debra (Monico) Rodriguez of Twin Lake, Connie Walton of Twin Lake, Dale Ennis of Grant, Christine Ennis of Grant, Luann (Wilbur) Mathews of Bridgeton, Marvin (Judy) Ennis of Hesperia, Kenneth (Nichole) Ennis of Fremont, Cathy (Robert VanOver) Adams of Holton, and Linda (Mike) Robart of Newaygo; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Leo (Delores) Ennis of Newaygo, Ethlyn Kunnen of Fremont, Madeline Kunnen of Muskegon; and special family friend, Bruce Nelsen.
