Gerber, James White Cloud James Gerber, age 79, of White Cloud died on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 , at Heartland Healtcare in Whitehall . He was born on February 7, 1924 , in Nunica , Michigan , to Norman and Eva Gertrude (Carskadon) Eickes and Married Mona May Thebo in July of 1966. He was a construction worker and a Army Veteran serving in WWII. James attended the Brohman Bible Church . James is survived by his children, John Norman (Linda) Gerber of Ferrysburg, Linda Webb of Shelby, and Donald Maston Gerber of White Cloud; 1 grandchild; and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Mona, 4 brothers, and 1 sister. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 , at 2 p.m. from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud.
