James Robinson, age 63 of Grand Rapids, formerly of White Cloud, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Heartland Care Facility in Grand Rapids. James was born on June 25, 1951 in Chicago to Tommie C. and Thelma (Edwards) Rice and has been a resident of the area for several years. James served in the United States Army. James had worked as a drywall installer for several years and always enjoyed visiting with his friends. James is survived by his parents, Tommie and Thelma Rice of Starksville, Mississippi; his sisters, Beverly Ray of White Cloud; Patricia Fay Robinson of White Cloud; Doris Robinson Duckworth of Grand Rapids; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and host of other family and many friends. James was preceded in death by his sisters, Violet Burns and Rose Robinson. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with FAMILY HOUR 1:30 until the time of the services at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
