James Mike Sherman, age 55 of Fremont, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont following a lingering illness. Mike was born on July 20, 1955 in Fremont to James E. and Judy A. (Tozer) Sherman and graduated from Fremont High School in 1973. Mike had worked at Cannon Wyant & Campbell in Muskegon until his retirement and enjoyed rifle and bow hunting and fishing. He is survived by his parents, James and Judy Sherman of Fremont; his children, Jason (Martha) Sherman of White Cloud; Jeremy (Rachel) Sherman of Fremont; Amanda (Bob) Roesly of Hesperia; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters and brothers, Ed (Jill) Sherman of Alabaster, Alabama; Sue (Allen) Tanis of Whitewater, Wisconsin; Terry (Joy) Sherman of Alabaster, Alabama; Melody (Rob) McPherson of Twin Lake; Tim Sherman of Twin Lake; many nieces and nephews; 4 aunts and 7 uncles. VISITATION : Monday, January 24, 2011 from 1:30pm 3pm at the Faith Baptist Church in Fremont. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, January 24, 2011 at 3pm at the Faith Batptist Church with Pastor Ron Scott presiding. INTERMENT : Maple Grove Cemetery.
