Janet E. Schilling, age 67, of White Cloud passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2001, at Spectrum Health Services Downtown Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born on November 7, 1934, in Baldwin to Elzie Leo & Nellie Francis (Sleeper) Sellon and married Daniel Patrick Schilling on April 17, 1987, in Grand Rapids. She was an active member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church, member of the Esther Circle and the Church Chime Choir. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Patrick Schilling of White Cloud; daughter, Janet (Roland) Thomason of Oceanside, California; 2 sons, Alvin (Teresa) Nelson of Publo, Colorado and David (Tina) Sellon of Witt, Illinois; 4 stepchildren, Ellen (James) Turek of Wyoming, Michigan, Daniel (Pam) Schilling of Cedar Springs, Michigan, Dianna (Brent) Joppe of Morginton, North Carolinia and Lisa (Ron) Brow, of Belmont, Michigan, 16 grandchildren; 1 greatgrandchild; 4 sisters, Evelyn Brenner of Tucson, Arizona, Doris (George) Howard of Avon Park, Florida, Mildred Smith of Muskegon, and Della (Waldo) Slater of Casper, Wyoming; 3 brothers, Richard (Carol) Sellon of Branch, Michigan, Earl (Jean) Sellon of Rochester, New York, and Leo Sellon of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Wallis and Leona Slussher. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 15, 2001, from the White Cloud United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Jaquish officiating. Interment was in Big Prairie Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial friends are asked to consider the White Cloud United Methodist Church Chime Choir.
