Janice Lorraine Hunt, age 79, of Hesperia passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon. Janice was born on October 12, 1942, in Hesperia to Warren Luther and June Thressa (Dipple) Stanton and later married Charles Hunt on June 16, 2001, in Shelby. Janice had been a teacher's aide at the Hesperia Public Schools for many years as well as being a beautician and owner of her own business. Janice loved animals and enjoyed baking. Janice is survived by her son, Jeff (Pearl) Rose of Keller, Texas, and grandchildren, Adyson, Regan, Tatumn, Katelyn, Jillian, Jeffery, and Lauren. She is also survived by Chuck's children, Danne (Brenda) Hren, Scott (Terry) Hunt, Brian (Cindi) Hunt; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are special cousins, Bruce Youker and Joannie Boutell; friend, Diane Rose; and her dogs Mickey and Festus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 2020, and son, Todd Rose in 2015. Interment services will be held at a later time.
