Janice E. Trapp, age 73 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Fountain View Retirement Village in Grant following a lingering illness. Janice was born on October 3, 1942 in Grant to Hurshel B. and Louise (Wilson) Perry and has been a lifelong resident of Newaygo County. Janice married Terry Trapp on June 24, 1989 in White Cloud. Janice had been a teller at the Independent Bank in White Cloud for 10 years until her retirement in 2004. Janice was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud and had enjoyed singing and dancing, making afghans, gardening, traveling and simply being in the Michigan outdoors. She was a member of the White Cloud Eagles and the Newaygo V.F.W. Janice is survived by her husband, Terry of White Cloud; her son, Steven B. Tanis of Fremont; her grandchildren, Shaylynn Tanis and Krystal Tanis; 4 great grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Noma Moore (Jack) Deering of Newaygo; Erwin B. (Darolyn) Perry of Kino Bay, Mexico; Monte T. (Margie) Perry of Corona, California; June A. (Edward) Hogan of Colon, Michigan; her mother-in-law, Betty Trapp of White Cloud; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws. VISITATION : Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel (1109 Court Street White Cloud MI 49349) and 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
