Jason Charles Mielke, age 28 of Newaygo passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Jason was born on January 11, 1981, in Grand Rapids to Theodore and Shirley Mielke. Jason had worked construction and loved hunting, cutting wood, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his father, Theodore Chuck (Rhonda) Mielke of Newaygo; mother Shirley A. Mielke of California; children, Justin, Jaycee & Josie, and Lidia; brothers and sisters, Joshua Mielke of Grand Rapids, Vanessa Mielke, of Grand Rapids, Misty Meilke, of Florida; half brother, Travis Shattuck; and grandmother, Emma (Ace) Kilmer of Arizona. A Celebration of Jasons life was held on Saturday, January 17, 2009, at the Sherman Township Hall.
