Johnson, Jay C. Jay C. Johnson, age 38 of White Cloud, formerly of New Baltimore, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 18, 2003 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont . Jay was born on July 4, 1964 in Decatur , Illinois to Franklin David and Hazel Arline (Hudgins) Johnson and moved to the White Cloud area in 1999 from New Baltimore, Michigan. Jay had worked at the Venture Industries Company in Detroit and Grand Rapids for the past 19 years where he was a supervisor. He was a member of the White Cloud Eagles, Aerie Post #4170 in White Cloud and enjoyed Nascar racing, football and meeting his friends at Charlie's Pub in White Cloud. He is survived by his fianc, Victoria Lankey of White Cloud; his mother, Hazel Johnson of New Baltimore; his children, Erica Johnson; Kelly Johnson; James Khan; Justin Lankey; Amanda Lankey; Wanda Lankey all of White Cloud; his sisters, Kerri Johnson of New Baltimore; Wendi Watinoski of New Baltimore; special friend, Larry Jarrett of White Cloud. Jay was preceded in death by his father, David and a brother Christopher. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
