Our most giving and loving mother, sister and friend slipped from our arms & entered Heaven. Jean Ann Cook, age 84 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Fountain View Retirement Village in Fremont. Jean was born on March 21, 1929 in Hart to Ormal and Gladys V. (Miller) Campbell and graduated from Hesperia High School. Jean later moved to California where she was a nutritionist in Laguna Hills, California and later moved back to the Fremont area. Jean is survived by her daughters, Melinda Sue (Jim) Graham of Fremont; Laura Kay Anzures of California; Jeanne Ann (Darryl) Rasch of Fremont; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her sisters, Joyce (Russ) Deurloo of Fremont; Sandra Mardell Kosheba of Ravenna; her brother, Ronald Campbell of Hesperia; her sister-in-law, Ann Campbell of Hesperia. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Cook; brothers, Robert Campbell and Rodney Campbell; sister-in-law, Sandra Campbell; and brother-in-law, John Kosheba. Jeans daughters & family wish to express their deep gratitude for paryers & comfort from our many dear friends. Our most heartfelt thanks to our friends at Fremont Fountainview Assisted Living, who loved and cared for her & us like family for just over 3 years, and also to the staff of Main Street Internal Medicine. Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, from 1-3 PM, followed by a service at Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will be in Jewell Cemetery following the service. Luncheon will following at Branstrom Park pavilion. Jean loved taking her grand kids for walks on the Branstrom Park trails.
