Jeffery D. Jeff Lashuay, age 57 of Fremont, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Jeff was born on September 12, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio to Donald and Norma (Spect) Lashuay and later married Marsha Rose on February 17, 1984 in Ohio. Jeff had worked for the Toledo Clinic for many years as a maintenance technician and groundskeeper. Jeff always had an interest in the mechanical workings of all things and was known to many as a jack of all trades. Jeff loved cars, helping people and enjoyed kayaking and the peacefulness of West Michigan. Jeff is survived by his wife, Marsha Rose-Lashuay of Fremont; his children, Chad Lashuay, Jacob Lashuay, and Kevin Lashuay; several grandchildren, including Haleigh, Hayden, Evan Lashuay; his sisters and brothers, Joan Rippke and Susan Koschalk, Randy Lashuay, Robert Lashuay; many nieces and nephews; his mother and father-in-law, Jean and Jim Ellis of Fremont; and father-in-law, Terrell Rose of Toledo. Private memorial services will be held at a later date following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice for memorial contributions in memory of Jeff.
