Jeffery Hale Pinnell Sr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 20th, 2026, at the age of 61. Jeffery was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on October 28th, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan, he was a cherished resident of Hesperia, MI.

Jeffery is survived by his devoted spouse, Theresa Jane Pinnell, with whom he shared a life full of love and laughter. He leaves behind a legacy in his children: Megan (Jeffrey) Potts, Jeffery Pinnell Jr., Troy Gerth, Anthony (Marcie) Ingalls, Holly (Andrew McPheron) Ingalls, Tara Helmer, and Harley Pinnell. He treasured his time with his grandchildren: Mason, Riley, Kaden, Kaleb, Damon, A'aleigha, Xavier, Kaleb, Noah, Rebecca, and Lydia. Jeffery is fondly remembered by his siblings, James (Bobbi) Pinnell, Marshall (Stephanie) Frees, Tina (Tony Pletcher) Whelpley, and his stepmother, Janet Pinnell. Jeffery also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who will miss his warmth and humor.

Proceeding him in death are his father, James Pinnell and mother, Yvonne (Davis) Pinnell, his grandparents, John and Helen Davis, and his mother and father-in-law, Darrell and Linda (Wright) Frees.

Known for his ability to make anyone laugh, Jeffery had a passion for classic cars, enjoyed the thrill of NASCAR, and took great joy in bowling. His vibrant spirit and infectious humor made him a joy to be around and left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

To honor his memory, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories and cherish the moments they had with him. Arrangements are being made by Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
