Jeremiah Jonathan Johnson, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on December 14th, 1974, in Muskegon, Michigan, Jeremiah grew up in Holton, Michigan, where he later resided.

Jeremiah proudly served his country in the Army for four years and the National Guard for two years, a testament to his devotion and service to others. Jeremiah was a man of many talents, remembered fondly as a loving father to his children, Corey Johnson and Stephanie Johnson, and a godfather to Logan Johnson. His father, Homer Johnson, and brothers, Joe, Floyd, and James, recall his adventures with fondness, as do his nephews, Joey, Kevin, Michael, and Zedekiah. He is also survived by his Aunt Laura and Aunt Lorraine, his ex-wife Loretta Gibson, many more aunts, uncles, and his dynamic duo and best friend, Ricky Holmes, will miss his unwavering friendship.  Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Johnson, as well as cherished Uncle Robert, Aunt Candy, and Uncle Randy.

Jeremiah's passion for motorcycles, mechanics, cooking, and camping made him a true enthusiast and social butterfly. Known as a jack of all trades, his curiosity and skills were endless. Moreover, he was a dedicated employee in the automotive industry, working as a Blender, and many will remember him from his devoted years as the IT Guy at Brooklyn Bagels.

Visitation will take place at Crandell Funeral Homes - Fremont Chapel on Friday, December 12th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, where military honors will be rendered to salute his service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 397, in Holton, MI, at 12:30 pm, offering friends and family the opportunity to remember and celebrate Jeremiah's life.
