Jeremy W. Hepler, age 30 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at his home following a short illness. Jeremy was born on May 24, 1982 in Fremont to William LaBelle and JoAnn Hepler and has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area. Jeremy married Jessica Sumerix on October 4, 2010 in White Cloud. Jeremy had worked at Fuller Construction and Mid State Utilities and enjoyed working on car engines, snowmobiling, going to Lake Michigan and being in the Michigan outdoors. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Jessica of White Cloud; his son, Malachi Hepler of Lakeview; step son, Damon Sumerix of White Cloud; his mother, JoAnn Settlemyre of White Cloud; his father, William LaBelle of White Cloud; his sister, Brandy (Ray) Fleming of White Cloud; his nieces and nephews, Amber Fleming of Fremont; Daniel Fleming of White Cloud; Valerie Fleming of White Cloud; Andrew Fleming of White Cloud; Breanna Murray; his father-in-law, Kenneth Sumerix of White Cloud; his best friend, Jeremy Taco Alvarado of White Cloud; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeannie LaBelle in 2003. A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel from 2-5pm with cremation following.
