Ringler, Jerry L. Jerry L. Ringler, age 54 of Newaygo, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. He was born on May 17, 1948 in Grand Rapids to Arthur and Mildred (Wheeler) Ringler and married Bonnie Kay Clark on October 1, 1966. Jerry has been a lifelong resident of Newaygo County and had owned and operated Ringlers Towing in Newaygo for several years and later became a independent truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Kay Ringler of Newaygo; his children, Carol (John) Blankenship of Newaygo; Kimberly (Marvin) Ryman of Newaygo; Brent (Toni) Ringler of Walker; grandchildren, Anthony, Corey, Trisha, Justin, Brent Jr.; his brothers and sisters, Sandra (Edwin) Hannah of Shingleton, Michigan; Judy (Robert) Kelley of Cedar Springs; Arthur (Robin) Ringler of Ensley Center; Marilynn (Robert) DeVoe of Oakdale, Minnesota; Melvin Ringler of Newaygo; Sheila (Alan) Rutledge of Raleigh, North Carolina; Bruce (Joy) Ringler of Ensley Center; Brian (Denise) Ringler of Sparta; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws, Donna (Richard) Hall of Sparta; Margie (Ernie) Nader of Longmont, Colorado; very special cousin, Stuart (Vicki) Ringler of White Cloud; special friend, John Sutton of Newaygo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Ann Ringler on April 6, 1969. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 21, 2002 from the Resurrection Life Church of Newaygo with Pastor Mark Slagh presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
