Jesse A. Valdes, age 32 of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Grand Rapids. Jesse was born on March 1, 1985 in Adrian to Eddy and Pamela (Beattie) Valdes and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area where he graduated from Hesperia High School in 2004. Jesse met and later married Melissa Waganfeald on July 29, 2006. Jesse was a paint racker at Magna Donnelly in Newaygo where he started in 2009. Jesse was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed riding his quad, camping, kayaking, was an excellent cook and grill master, liked creating in the garden, always brought happiness to other people and truly enjoyed spending time with his kids.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Melissa of Hesperia; his children, Kreedence and Jasmine; his parents, Eddy and Pam Valdes of Hesperia; his brothers, Christopher (Stephanie) Valdes of Hesperia; Nigel (Racheal) Valdes of Hesperia; his nieces and nephews, Weston, Isabel, Evin, Irey, Gabriel, and Kempton; his mother-in-law, Christina ("Pork Chop" Mike) Laarman of Hesperia; his father-in-law, James Waganfeald of Hesperia; his brother-in-law, Mike Waganfeald; Alicia (Nicole) Waganfeald; his best friend, Haga; several aunts, uncles, cousins.

VISITATION : Friday, December 1, 2017 from 11-2pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : Christ The King Catholic Cemetery in Hesperia.
