Joan Bleiler, age 73 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003 at her home following a long illness. She was born on November 7, 1929 in Edmond , Oklahoma to Harold and Wanda Putz and lived in Utah and California until the age of 10 when she moved to White Cloud in 1939 where she lived with her grandparents, Stephen & Katherine Scheibach. She graduated from White Cloud Public Schools in 1947 and met and married Everett Bleiler on Nov. 16, 1947 . Joan had worked at the The White Agency in Fremont for 33 years until her retirement in 1994 and Everett currently works at the Hi-Lites in Fremont . Both are members of the White Cloud United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, of 55 years, Everett; her children, Steve (Mary) Bleiler of White Cloud; Roger (LuAnne) Bleiler of Grand Rapids; Alan (Millie) Bleiler of Fremont; Cathy (Ed) Cruzan of White Cloud; 10 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren; brother, Mark (Shirley) Putz of Harrison, Michigan; sister, Jane Limberg of Glenbeulah, Wisconsin; brother John Putz of Florida. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 from the White Cloud United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Bowman presiding with interment in White Cloud Cemetery.
