Change in location for Joan's services. Because of a power outage at the Nazarene Church, all services will be held at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Joan Adele Knox, age 85, of White Cloud went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Joan was born on November 6, 1935, in Dowagiac to Cleo Francis and Ida A. (Cutler) Warner and married Clarence Edward Knox on June 9, 1956, at the Dayton Center Wesleyan Church. Joan had worked at Gerber products as a security guard and was a member of the Fremont Nazarene Church. Joan loved gardening, flowers, and collecting light houses and angels, and spending time with her family. Joan is survived by her children, Faron Edward Knox of White Cloud, Terri Joan Vallejo of Grant, and Cammy Renee (Jonathon) Newton of Newaygo; grandchildren, Marla (Brian) Knox, Glenn Knox, Mandy (Bob) Knox, Nathan (Kayla) Knox, Daniel Vallejo, Stephen Vallejo, Carly Vallejo, Chad (Ericka) Newton, Alicia (Randy) Gee, and Lanette (Steve) Bouchard; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Gregory, Austin, Tyler, Dylan, Mason, Alyssa, Isaiah, Elijah, Ella, Elexa, Clara, Cloey, Seraiah, Micah, Brody, and Madison; sister-in-law, Nancy Warner; and several nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded by her husband, Clarence; great-grandson, Addison Michael Newton; and her brother and sisters, Cleo Warner, Ann Neibarger, Karen Baker, and Sue Bird. Services will be held at noon on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with Pastor Ron VanSyckle officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home prior to the services from 11 - 12PM. Interment will be in East Hesperia Cemetery.
