Joan L. Webster, age 78 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at her home. Joan was born on April 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Georgia (Houdek) Zirbel and later married Marvin A. Webster on March 12, 1955 in White Cloud. Marvin preceded her in death on May 9, 2004. Joan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newaygo where she had been a Sunday school teacher for several years. She was also active with the Child Evangelism Committee in White Cloud for many years. Joan was also a volunteer with the Foster Grandparents Program and helped with the Young Mothers Family Support group. Joan had been a Watkins Products dealer for many years and enjoyed flower and indoor gardening and baking rolls for family dinners. Joan is survived by her children, Gregory Webster of Muskegon; Debra (Mike) Hart of Litchfield, Michigan; Mike (Sheryl) Webster of Newaygo; Wade (Barb) Webster of Plano, Texas; Patricia (Terry) Force of Grant; Richard (Ashley) Webster of Grant; Lora (Gary) Pedersen of Fremont; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Penny Webster of White Cloud; her sisters and brothers, James (Janice) Zirbel of Minnesota; Judy (Rev. Jack) Knapp of Virginia; Janet Johnston of California; Jennifer (Richard) Grooms of California; Jeffery (Pam) Zirbel of California; her sisters-in-laws, Janette (Marvin) Deur of White Cloud; Norma (Jerry) Hoffman of Fremont; many nieces and nephews. VISITATION : Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2-5pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel and Monday, March 2, 2015 from 2-4 at the First Baptist Church of Newaygo (1546 E 82nd Street Newaygo). FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, March 2, 2015 at 4pm at the First Baptist Church of Newaygo with Pastor Mark Holeman presiding. INTERMENT : Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
