We both had JoAnn as a supervisor in Newaygo County. I also knew JoAnn for years before that. I'm so sorry to hear she's gone - have thought of her many times over the years. Just loved her as a supervisor and a person - she was one of a kind. I'll never forget playing Euchre on break at work - boy, she took that seriously, you didn't want to play a wrong card, haha. She was so easy to talk to and laugh with. She will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences. I'll keep you all in my prayers. I'm so sorry to here about JoAnn. I was a good friend of the family many years ago. I remember when the Loves took me to my first midnight mass, then came home and had my first Harvey Wallbanger and played cards. She was very serious about her euchre! I will be thinking of you and you'll be in my prayers. Kim Ricker (Johnson) Sorry to hear about your mom. I have very good memories of us as children being together while our parents played cards. I have two special memories that I can think of off the top of my head: 1) was when Julie, another girl (I can't think of her name - she lived on the corner by the store), and I snuck out of the house and went to the Diamond Lake Tavern for the evening. Boy someone was looking out for us that evening!! and 2) was when Ken, Greg and I tried to put out a match with some sort of solvent! YIKES!! Someone was looking out for us then, too!! Well, time has passed and we've all grown up and apart but I will always have the fondest memories of our times together. Remember, I am only a phone call (or e-mail) away if you ever need me. May God Bless all of you in this time of sorrow. Love, Cathy (Bleiler) Cruzan Loves, Big bridge game in heaven! Gods Speed, Ted De Blake Posted 4/18/07
