Joanne Carol Gilmore, aged 60, of Fremont, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2024. Joanne was born and raised in Fremont, cherished daughter of the late Tommie Gilmore Sr. and Mary Anne Gilmore.

Joanne was a proud alumni of White Cloud High School, she was a spirited and dedicated Detroit Lions football fan, sharing many joyful moments and the occasional heartbreak with fellow fans. Joanne also had a passion for Lifetime movies, and enjoying the company of friends and family. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her loved ones, forming a close-knit family circle that remembered her as a beloved auntie and friend.

Joanne is survived by her loving siblings: sister Marilyn Jean (Derrick) Beeler, brother David (Cheryl) Gilmore, brother Robert (Sally) Gilmore, brother Michael (Cynthia) Gilmore, sister Jacqueline Mellon, and brother John (Dawn) Gilmore. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who fondly remember her warmth, humor, and kindness. She was preceded in death by her father Tommie Gilmore Sr., mother Mary Anne Gilmore, sister Johnnie Florence Gilmore, brother Tommie Gilmore Jr., and cherished daughter Megan Nicole Gilmore.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the support and love received during this difficult period. A memorial service will be held at Fremont Lake park on September 21, 2024 from 1-4pm for family and friends, weather permitting. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont, Michigan.
