Joey Raymond Syers, age 52, of Hesperia passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. Joey was born on December 30, 1962 in Fremont to Carl and Norma (Jaunese) Syers and was a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area. Joey is survived by his brothers, John (Connie) Blamer, Richard Blamer, Carl R. Hall Syers Jr., and Jim Richards; sisters, Marie (Gary) Beattie, Judy (John) Jensen, Kelly (Shaine) Wallace, Carmen Kurdziel, and Sandy Smith Kitchka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl; mother, Norma; and step mother, Sena Smith. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM on March 12, 2015, at the Holton Family Life Worship Center with Pastor Chuck Beckah officiating.
