John Lee Fosdick II, age 23 of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Fremont, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his home. John was born on December 10, 1994 in Fremont to John Lee and Kelly Jean (Kosutich) Fosdick and graduated from Fremont High School in 2013. John had played football and threw the shotput while at Fremont High School and graduated near the top of his class. John had been a machinist and shop foreman in Mt. Pleasant and enjoyed video gaming, shooting, RC cars, disc golfing and taking care of his beard. John is survived by his mother, Kelly Kosutich (Kevin Carrier) of Fremont; his father, John Fosdick (Taira Stariha) of Fremont; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Kosutich of Fremont; paternal grandmother, Marsha Fosdick of White Cloud; maternal great grandmother, Barbara Sollinger of Fremont; step brothers and sister, Jonah Wungnema; Joshua Wungnema; Mona Wungnema; his uncles and aunts, Michael Kosutich II of Fremont; Julie Dickinson of Fremont; Becky Holm of White Cloud, William Fosdick of White Cloud, Marvin Fosdick of Ludington; several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael Kosutich and his paternal grandfather, Bert Fosdick. Services will be planned and announced at a later date.
