John Samuel Gilmore, age 71, of Fremont went home to be with his Lord on Monday, July 26, 2021. John was born on July 15, 1950, in Detroit to Cleave and Henrietta (Szabo) Gilmore and had worked at NARCO in White Cloud for over 25 years before his retirement. John loved music, played guitar and sang in several bands, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. John is survived by his longtime friend and companion Norma Jean Fox and her grandchildren, Alex and Megan; his aunt, Mary Ann Gilmore; sister-in-law, Vicki Myers; nieces and nephews, Charles (Ashley) Myers Jr., Dustin (Erika) Myers, Max (Colleen Nicholson) Myers, and Myra (Denver Woodard) Myers; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Gilmore on June 7, 2015, father, Cleave Gilmore on May 26, 1978, brothers, Charles "Chuck" T. Myers on January 13, 2020 and Melvin Gilmore.
