McDonald, John "Jack" K. John Jack K. McDonald, age 55 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, June 6, 2003 at his home. Jack was born on October 21, 1947 in White Cloud to William and Emily Elizabeth (Freidinger) McDonald and married Rose Westcomb on March 8, 1980 in Munith, Michigan . Jack graduated from White Cloud High School and has worked in the logging industry all his life. He had been a logging truck driver for North Country Wood Products for several years and enjoyed fishing and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife, Rose of White Cloud; his children, John (Shannon) McDonald of Big Rapids; Emily Surrecy of Anniston, Alabama; Gregory (Cristyl) McDonald of White Cloud; Joseph (April) McDonald of White Cloud; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Jeannette (Robert) Babcock of White Cloud; Esther Macomber of White Cloud; his brothers, Daniel McDonald of White Cloud; James McDonald of White Cloud. He was preceded in death by his parents William in 1965; Emily in 1998; his brother, William J. McDonald Jr. in 1996 and one grand daughter. Destiny. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Greg Allbright of the Evangelical Weslyan Church of Rogers Heights presiding with interment in the Sherman Township Cemetery .
