John T. Ray, age 70, of Hesperia passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019, at Mercy Health Partners - Sherman Campus in Muskegon. John was born on September 11, 1949, and married Beverly Jean McSkulin on May 1, 1976, in Lansing. John proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. John had been a truck driver hauling for Hoosier Trucking Company and enjoyed hunting with his dogs and going on horse and mule rides. John is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Alan (Han) Lipsey, Rene Lipsey, Brett Lipsey, and Devin (Lisa) Lipsey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
