John Robert Sears Sr., age 82, of White Cloud passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his home. John was born on April 6, 1938 in Buchanan Michigan, to Joseph and Alice (Black) Sears and married Janice Elaine Westphal on December 29, 1955, in Michigan City, Indiana. John worked in the RV and mobile home industry and was a contractor nation-wide. John was a dedicated hobby farmer, enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, raising animals, growing big gardens, and proudly served in the United States Air Force and National Guard. John is survived by his loving wife, Janice; children, Alice Hill of Burr Oak, Tammy Waldron of Vicksburg, John (Shirley) Sears Jr. of Marcellus, and Kevin (Tina) Sears of White Cloud; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and sisters, Marie and Barbara. He was preceded by his son, Greg Sears; daughter, Peggy Sears; sons-in-law, Bruce Waldron and Dean Hill; and 5 brothers, Charles "Sonny," Jerry, Joe Jr., Jack, and Mike.
