John H. Wiggers Jr. age 73, of Holton passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. John was born on October 20, 1940 in Ravenna to John H. and Olga E. (Thornberg) Wiggers and had worked as a tool and die manager for Graflex in Spring Lake. John married Carol Marie Kubick on August 11, 1967 in Plymouth, Michigan. John proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling the US in his motorhome. John was a strong-willed person with a positive attitude that saw humor in all aspects of his life. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. John is survived by his loving wife Carol, of 47 years; children, Carol Marie (Dan) Burton of Beaver Island, Michigan, John Harold (Samantha) Wiggers III of White Cloud, Edward Joseph (Monica) Wiggers of North Muskegon, and Lydia Olga Eppard of Holton; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sisters Ellie and Connie. He was preceded in death by sisters, Marva and Thelma. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider Heartland Hospice Services of Fremont.
