Johnny Roy Colegrove, age 59 of Brohman, passed away Monday, July 17, 2000 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1941 in Kentucky to Curtis Christoffer and Ruby (Stines) Colegrove and married Brenda Calkins in 1978 in Jellico, Tennessee. He served in the United States Army during the Post Korean Era. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Colegrove of Brohman; his daughters, Jennifer Faye (Jason) Ringler of Hardy Dam; Margaret Anne (Arron) Abbott of Newaygo; his sons, Jimmy Ray Colegrove of Grand Rapids; Johnny Roy Colegrove Jr. of Grand Rapids; Jerry Colegrove of Grand Rapids; 8 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Cathy Colegrove of Lexington, Kentucky; Belva Williams of San Antonio, Texas; Sarah (Pete) Curtner of Cincinnati, Ohio; Helen (Don) Circle of Destin, Florida; Chris (Cindy) Colegrove of Grand Rapids; Cindy (Dan) Haggard of Kentucky; Becky (Kenny) Harrison of Lexington, Kentucky; James (Anita) Colegrove of Lexington, Kentucky; Pat Lockwood of Lexington of Kentucky; Tina Griffieth of Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 20, 2000 from the White Cloud Church of God in White Cloud with Rev. Michael Bayer presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
