Jon Francis VanPaemel, age 78, of Norton Shores and formerly of Fremont passed away at Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center. Jon was born on November 19, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana to John Leo and Jean Margaret (Busko) VanPaemel and had been a pilot for Gerber Products Company for many years. Jon served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Chi Veteran's Fraternity. Jon is survived by several longtime special friends and caregivers. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Muskegon. Military honors and interment services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 21, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Muskegon.
