Joseph "Joey" Arthur Buttleman, age 29 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Corewell Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.  Joey was born on February 26, 1994 in Grand Rapids to James and Angela "Angie" (Shafer) Buttleman and has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area.  Joey had attended and graduated from Newaygo County RESA Education and Activities Center and enjoyed listening to music, playing with his toys, watching movies and loved life in general.

Joey is survived by his father, Jim Buttleman of White Cloud; his brother, Joshua (fiancé, Lexi Hall) Buttleman of White Cloud; his maternal aunts and uncles – Anita (Blaine) Speese, Bill Shafer, Dave (Mary) Shafer, John Shafer, Laura (Curt) Veersma, Linda (Kevin) Hook; paternal aunt and uncle, Bonnie Buttleman and Tom Maike; many cousins.  Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Buttleman on September 8, 2007; his maternal grandparents, William and Alice Shafer; paternal grandparents, Jack and Ellen Buttleman; maternal uncle, Phil Shafer; paternal aunts and uncles, John Buttleman, Alice Maike, Mary Brown, Rick Buttleman, and Roxanne Buttleman.

VISITATION : Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the White Cloud United Methodist Church 1125 Newell Street White Cloud  MI 49349.  FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the White Cloud United Methodist Church.  INTERMENT : St. Bartholomew Catholic Cemetery in Newaygo.  MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : NCRESA for the Education and Activities Center for Joseph's classroom.  LUNCHEON: following graveside services, Joey's family is inviting everyone to the John Graves Lodge and Sledding Hill to continue celebrating Joey's life with memories and laughs.
