Joseph B. Bernie Brown, age 75 of White Cloud formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. Bernie was born on July 20, 1940 in Maple River Twp, near Burt Lake, Michigan to George Henry and Stella (Mixceney) Brown. Bernie moved to the White Cloud area in 1999 from Grand Rapids and enjoyed playing the guitar, playing Bingo and cribbage, attending Pow Wows, riding his bicycle and walking. Bernie is survived by his great niece and caregiver for the past 17 years, Heather and Marty Taylor and great great nieces, Ashley, Brianna, and Gabriella; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; his sister-in-law, Lillian L. Brown of Fremont. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Frank Brown and sister, Helen Vivian Menefee.
