Martin, Joseph Louis Joseph Louis Martin, age 92 of Fremont , passed away Saturday, October 19, 2002 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont . He was born on January 20, 1910 in Muskegon to Louis Charles and Jennie (Kenyon) Martin and later moved to Fremont in 1929. He married Delilia Hevell and she preceded him in death. He later married Cora O. Bryan on Nov. 18, 1994 in Fremont . He had been a auto mechanic for several years until his retirement. He was a member of the Fremont Christian Church, Disciples of Christ and member of the Loyal Order of Moose. He is survived by his wife, Cora; his children, Ida Russell of Fremont; Virginia Purcey of White Cloud; Sara (Ron) Wood of Dallas, Texas; Harvey Martin of Hesperia; William (Linda) Martin of Fremont; Robert (Kathy) Martin of Fremont; James Martin of Muskegon; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several step children. He was preceded in death by sons, Harvey Martin; Arthur Martin and brother, Carl Martin. Memorial Services were held on Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at the Fremont Moose Lodge with Rev. David Dickingson presiding with interment of the cremated remains in the Lincoln Township Cemetery.
