Joseph M. Skowron, age 56, of Grant passed away on June 13, 2012, at his home. Joseph was born on August 3, 1955, to Joseph Robert and Geraldine (Smith) Skowron and married Carol Morris on December 4, 1976. Joseph worked at Sun Chemical in Muskegon enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a Navy veteran. Joseph is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Amber (Robert Palmer) Barnes of Twin Lake and Robin Fellows of Elkhart, Indiana; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Judy (George) Raap of Kent City and Val (Ken) Kleinjans of Allendale. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.
