Joseph Wszolek, age 81, of Hesperia passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at his home with his family by his side. Joseph was born on March 16, 1937, in Detroit to Andrew and Theresa (Niemiec) Wszolek and married Patricia Ustupsky on May 26, 1962, in Detroit. Joseph was a warehouse supervisor for F. B. Wright & Hose Specialty/Capri and had proudly served in the United States Army. Joseph enjoyed traveling, carpentry, painting, and bowling. He was a member of the Lansing American Legion and of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Pat; children, Anita (Paul) Thomas of Allen Park, Colleen (John) Krizmanich of Southgate, Nadine (Jim) McMillian of Allen Park, and John Wszolek of Milford; grandchildren, Trevor, Ian, Savannah, Marcus, Garrett, Jordan, Sean 2LT US Army, and Erin; great-grandson, Jace Alexander; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. He was preceded by his brothers and sisters, Irene, Eleanor, Eugene, Dorothy, and Raymond.
There will be services at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later time. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider Harbor Hospice and Palliative Care (1050 W.
