Josephine "Josie" King, age 77 of Bastrop, Texas, formerly of White Cloud, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at her home. Josephine was born on July 2, 1939 in White Cloud to Gustov and Constance (Dutton) Redman Sr. and graduated from White Cloud High School. Josie married Harvey King on December 31, 1976 in Grant. Josie had been a school teacher in Germany, Italy, El Paso, Texas, Witchita, Texas and later retired from Bastrop, Texas school system. Josie enjoyed painting, feeding and watching the wildlife at her home, and showing horses. Josie is survived by her husband, Harvey King; her children, David (Annette) Crisler of Fremont; Phillip Crisler of Grand Rapids; Daniel (Genny) King of Phoenix, Arizona; Christopher King of Muskegon; Bianca (Scott) Welch of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandchildren, Nicole, Kristen, Brandon, Amanda, Tyler, Kaila, Abigail, Anthony, Tamara, Aspen, Ashlynn, Grant; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamara "Tammy Lynn" Crisler; her mother, Constance Cooper, her father and step mother, Gustov Redman Sr. and Mildred Redman; her brother, Gustov Redman Jr..

VISITATION : Monday, October 17, 2016 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2pm at the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery.
