Joshua Andrew Baumgartner, age 35 of Clare, formerly of Brohman, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 following injuries he received in a motorcycle accident. Joshua was born on October 1, 1984 in Fremont to Philip Andrew and Cathy (VanLiew) Baumgartner and had attended White Cloud High School and later graduated from Gillette, Wyoming. Joshua has been a resident of the Clare area for the past 3 years and had worked at StageRight in Clare and currently was employed at the Soaring Eagle Hotel and Casino in the maintenance department. Joshua enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing video games, fishing, hunting, working on cars and making people happy. Joshua truly enjoyed life and treasured the time he spent with his family and his children. Joshua is survived by his children, Angel Baumgartner, William Baumgartner, Raelin Baumgarter; his mother, Cathy (fiancé, Michael Bulson) Baumgartner of Brohman; significant other, Jamie Maine and her children, Dominic, Ashton and Luke; his brother, Jerimiah (Jessica) Baumgartner of Detroit; nieces and nephews, Audri, Jordan, Natalia, and Gunner; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Philip Andrew Baumgartner on January 19, 2020; by his maternal grandparents, Blaine and Delores VanLiew; paternal grandparents, Thomas Baumgartner and Shirley Lance. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the family home in Brohman on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 1pm.
