Joyce Schubert, age 65 of Hesperia, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her home. Joyce was born on March 31, 1952 in Trenton, Michigan to Meford and Betty Lou (Graves) Miskell and later married Charles A. Schubert on March 2, 1971 in Detroit. Charles preceded her in death in 2007. Joyce later moved to the Hesperia area and had been a production worker at Accu-Tech in Whitehall prior to retirement. Joyce enjoyed gaming and traveling and animals.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Charles R. (Anna) Schubert of Hesperia; Scott (Darlene) Schubert and their children, Treva, Tyler, Gabby, Alex and Russell Schubert of Fremont; her sisters, Janet Miskell of Indiana; Donna Swayer of Nebraska; and Collene Baumann of Nebraska; her brother, Bob Miskell of Indiana. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Medford and Betty Lou Miskell and by her infant son, Mathew Schubert. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the family home following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Oceana County Animal Shelter.
