Joyce Faye Wallis, age 81, passed away on June 7, 2020 at her home in White Cloud Michigan. Joyce was born on August 15 1938 to William Edward Swartz, Jr. and Mildred Irene Page in Columbus Ohio. Joyce married William Junior Wallis on June 2, 1958 in Muskegon, Michigan and William preceded her in death on April 19, 1997. William and Joyce had 6 children Evelyn Fay, Francis Ann, Timothy Wayne, Belinda Joyce, Candace Justina, and Cecil Ellis. Joyce was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Joyce was a very kind hearted, loving, and caring woman. She raised her children and grandchildren to love God. She was a member of the Big Prairie Community Church where she was also a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Joyce is survived by her children, Candace Wallis-Baumgartner, Belinda Wallis, Evelyn Faye, Frances Ann, and Timothy Wallis; her grandchildren, Marcus Wallis, Shea Baumgartner, Cecil William Wallis, Katti Wallis, Kevin Novess, Karissa (Josh) Kline, Kyle Novess, Ben Novess, Kenneth Novess, Brandon Novess, Brittany Novess, Brooke Novess, and Bradley Novess; her great grandchildren, Cecil Ryan, Ava, Cadyn, Melanie, Carter, Hailey, Owen, Bastion, Serenity, Lexi, and Vivian; her brothers Steven (Donella) Swartz, Thomas Swartz, Harold (Fran) Dulin, Cecil Dulin as well as her aunt, Emma Curtis. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward Swartz, Jr. and Mildred Page (Cecil, Sr.) Dulin; husband William Junior Wallis; son Cecil Ellis Wallis; sisters Connie McGranahan and Norma Jean Jordan; brothers Roger Dulin, Perry Dulin, Howard Dulin, and Marvin Dulin. Joyce's family gathered at Crandell Funeral Home to hold private farewells on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 7-8pm. Interment will be in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery in White Cloud, Michigan. Friends may consider the Community Home Health Care Services (PACE) of Newaygo County.
