Obituary

LaBelle, Juanita V. Juanita V. LaBelle, age 85 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, February 11, 2005 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Juanita was born on July 11, 1919 in East Lansing to Jay and Grace (Brewer) Wolever and married Henry J. LaBelle on January 28, 1935 in Lansing. Henry he preceded her in death on January 3, 1978. Juanita moved to White Cloud from Tower, Michigan in 1949 and had been a cook at various restaurants around the White Cloud area until her retirement. She also attended the Big Community Church of White Cloud. She is survived by her daughters, Leona Buttleman of White Cloud; Ruth Krueger of White Cloud; her sons, Henry (Dorothy) LaBelle Jr. of Howard City; Lloyd (Nancy) LaBelle of Lake, Michigan; William (Kay) LaBelle of White Cloud; 21 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; brother, Ivan Wolever of Barryton, Michigan; 2 sister-in-laws, Ruby Wolever of White Cloud and Fern Wolever of White Cloud; brother-in-law, Russell Harris of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her granddaughter Jeannie LaBelle; sisters, June and Joyce; and brothers, Russell, Eldon, Veryl and Earl. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 16, 2004 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Arnie Guikema presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. Friends are asked to consider the Juanita V. LaBelle Family for memorial contributions.
