Judy K. Hardy, age 60 of White Cloud, formerly of Saginaw, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at her home following a short illness. Judy was born on August 30, 1947 in Bay City to Osceola and Alvera (Felske) Waltemyer and later married David Hardy on September 17, 1966 in Saginaw. Judy had been a homemaker and was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud where she was the President of the Christ Lutheran Church Womens Fellowship. Judy had also been a volunteer at St. Lukes Hospital, enjoyed playing cards, traveling to Arizona for the winter and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband of 41 years, David of White Cloud; her children, Alan Hardy and special friend Christine of Saginaw; Tracy Brooks and special friend, Mark of Saginaw; her grandchildren, Michael Orr, Jordan Hardy, and Tyra Brooks; Nicole and Kayla; her brothers, Albert (Barbara) Waltemyer of Saginaw; Lennis (Patricia) Waltemyer of Bay City; Terry (Lisa) Waltemyer of Harrison; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Osceola Shorty in 1979 and by her mother, Alvera in February 2007. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde presiding with interment at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
