Judy Mae Maynard, age 72 of Holton, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home following a lingering illness. Judy was born on July 26, 1939 in Fremont to Clair and Theo (Yeagle) Bennett and later graduated from Fremont High School in 1969. Judy married Donald Maynard on September 1, 1956 in Troy, Michigan and Donald preceded her in death on September 9, 2002. Judy has been a lifelong resident of the area where she had been a homemaker and had enjoyed attended the Holton Free Methodist Church for several years. Judy enjoyed camping, fishing, and especially traveling. Judy was known for her enjoyment of cooking and spending time with her family. Judy is survived by her son, Paul (Catherine) Maynard of Fremont; foster son, Bob (Sara) Bryant of Floral City, Florida; her grandchildren, Derrick Lee Maynard of Holton; Chad Michael (fianc, Amanda K. Vriesman) Maynard of Holton; Jacob Paul Maynard of Fremont; Tressa Lynn Maynard of Fremont; great grandchildren, Alyssa Maynard and Autumn Maynard; several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean Bennett and Clair Bennett Jr. VISITATION : Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 12-2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
