Judy I. Nelson, age 70 of Fremont, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Judy was born on April 21, 1948 in Fremont to Keith and Thelma (Cook) Nelson and graduated from Fremont High School in 1966. Judy has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where she had been a clerk at Walmart for several years until her retirement. Judy was also a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church. Judy had been a member of the Fremont Women of the Moose #401 and had enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Judy is survived by her sister and brothers, Diane (Denny) Walker of Fremont; Steve Nelson of Fremont; Donald (Gloria) Nelson of Fremont; Ronald (Vicki) Nelson of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Darling and her father, Keith Nelson. VISITATION: Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 5-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel and Wednesday from 11am – 12pm at the Fremont United Methodist Church.
